"1st time we had a missing item and it was a large order. It was easy to remedy via door dash and credits were issued for the two missing items. This store is great abt getting our specific food orders correct EVERY other time. We feel bad saying 4* when the problem was remedied easily and all else was perfectly cooked, labeled , packaged, etc. and so we gave 5* anyway. The credits issued could've been used instantly to reorder missing items but we had ordered extra for snacks later so not needed tonight. The food we did receive looks perfect. The Doritos Locos tacos and taco supremes were separated so it was ex to find the group w/sr cream and the group without. It's our fave taco. Also the new mini taco salads are a great new item. The oil was soaked into the dough of all our raised donuts, to the point where we could see the puddled layers of oil saturating the center of the donuts. It was like the oil wasnt hot enough when they added the donuts, so it had time to soak into the dough before the dough on the outside could cook. I didn't mind that the chocolate glaze was strangely matte, but it didn't taste like chocolate at all. The old fashion I received was so thin, it looked like an oversized onion ring. If this is normal for this business, it would appear they are really relying on name recognition. They either need to fix their recipes or retrain their baker."

"The quesabirras are amazing. Last time we ate here, we didn't or couldnt get those, but tried Enchiladas Michoacanes, camarones a la diabla, and a taco plate with barbacoa . The plates lasted a few days and were amazing. The carne asada and barbacoa were perfectly cooked and delicious. The salsas they came with took everything up another notch. The camarones were spicy, but not over the top. They had a lot of good flavor in addition to some heat. All in all, this was the best Bay Area Mexican reataurant weve tried so far. However I got the Carnitas Plate and the meat was so dry no matter how much salsa I put, it wasn't enough, to the point it was even hard to swallow. Unfortunately the same for the Taco de Pollo, the meat was fried until all the flavors and juices were nonexistent and then sprinkled with a conservative amount of onions and maybe a leaf or two of cilantro. The rice was just bad.. almost as if it was heated in a dirty microwave after a long day. I'll save the tortillas but that's all that was edible. After all that this was a waste of $35, which sucks because I used to be a huge fan. I guess I'll just snack on tortillas."
