"The caldo de res is lacking a lot of flavor. The foam the meat releases when it's cooked is not removed and changes the taste of the soup. The pieces of meat have all of the fat still on them so it's a big piece of meat but most of it is fat. The portion and price is good but the taste is just not there. The side of rice has a super strong taste of lemon and when ate with soup it's just a complete mess. The corn inside the soup also felt undercooked. The carrots were really soft for him. I ordered him the bowl and it's a perfect size for a single meal. The bagel chips that came with it are always heaven from Brent's, I've had them before and my grandfather loved dipping them in the soup and munching on them. Barely any seasoning if any, barely any cheese and the daves sauce that usually comes in a big packet came in a tiny cup. These fries were a rip off for the upcharge fee. Will just have to order from the Ventura location from now on. The chicken was its usual goodness. Good crisp and flavor. Just a shame about the fries because thats what I was looking forward to. "I had to post for the Prosciutto & Chicken. The sandwich is nuts. When you bite in, you get the nuttiness and sweetness of the toast, and then unexpectedly the nuttiness and sweetness of the honey roasted almonds. It's the way those two flavors were so layered. That's a 10/10 sandwich for me.
