"When checking out menu one day found out that Rosa's delvers breakfast but cut off time is 10:30 am. Since I usually don't order until that time I've missed out on breakfast orders. Ordered earlier & got 2 breakfast bowls (sausage & bacon w/o the refried beans & 2 breakfast plates (sausage & bacon) to eat one when the order came & the others for later. I have a habit of eating late breakfasts even for dinner. All had large portions & the entire order was well packaged. The flour tortillas were wrapped in a heavy wrapper so they would stay warm. The hot sauce was packaged separately so it wouldn't spill out & ruin the other orders or the sack that the entire order was packed. "This is the first time I've ordered from Rosa's. Have been reviewing menu for a while before ordering since I love Mexican food & especially good tamales. Ordered the 3 tamale dinner & also the beef enchilada dinner with the sweet ice tea. Everything was delicious & the portions are large enough for leftovers. The refried beans were creamy but not runny & didn't dry out like some other restaurants have done before you finished your dinner. Liked the fact that you have a choice of salsa since I prefer it having a good taste but not too hot. Also like that they serve tortillas with the food without having to special order them. "The food arrived cold- the avocado had already turned blackish brown, my tortilla was soggy because it was placed in the container with the food. The food was inedible, super salty- all parts except the soggy tortilla.
The drink, the Chacha, was completely watered down so much so that the drink content had separated to the bottom of the cup with 2 inches of water in the top of the cup. I tried storing it around to reincorporate the ingredients, but the flavor was too watered down to enjoy.
I feel like I wasted 35.00 on this meal and I am still hungry!
