My daughter ordered the Sticky Ribs with mac and cheese and greens, and she loved the ribs! I stole a few bites of her greens and immediately asked for some because they were THAT good! 😂
I ordered the Fried Salmon Platter with mac and cheese, yams, and cabbage, plus the Honey Butter Cornbread. Every single thing was seasoned so well. The salmon was crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside, and absolutely delicious. The cabbage was full of flavor, the mac and cheese was creamy, the yams were sweet and perfectly cooked, and that honey butter cornbread was the perfect finishing touch.
The portions were generous, everything tasted fresh, and you can tell the food is made with love. I’ll definitely be ordering again. Raleigh Soul has earned a loyal customer!"

Gabe, a member of the restaurant team, went above and beyond. Once they realized what had happened, they kept us informed, worked with DoorDash, had our order remade, and made sure we were taken care of every step of the way.
We ordered the Chicken & Ribs Bundle with an extra side of Honey Sriracha Brussels Sprouts. The portions were very generous, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely worth the wait.
A special shoutout to Isaiah, the second DoorDash driver, who worked closely with us and the restaurant team, waited for the order to be remade, and delivered it promptly and professionally.

This was my first time trying this restaurant, and I am seriously impressed.
I got the breakfast plate with eggs, beef sausage, cheese grits, a biscuit, and two hash browns, and it was amazing. It tasted like the kind of breakfast you’d get at your grandma’s house on the weekend—if your grandma could really cook. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and it was worth every dollar.
I also got the salmon wrap with a side salad, and both were excellent. Everything tasted fresh, clean, and high quality. You can tell whoever is cooking knows how to cook real food.
The macaroni and cheese was really good, and the green beans were good too, though they were a little salty for my personal taste.
What really stood out was the customer service. An item I ordered wasn’t available, and the restaurant actually contacted me directly to make sure I was accommodated. They gave me an extra side and a FREE banana pudding, which was absolutely amazing.
The fact that all of this was delivered makes it even more impressive. Some restaurants don’t travel well, but everything arrived tasting fresh and delicious.
Honestly, this is some of the best food I’ve had so far in the Raleigh-Durham area. It’s not trying to be fancy or trendy—it’s just really good soul food made with quality ingredients and care. Great food, great portions, and great customer service.
