The Birria Grilled Cheese Sandwich had this layer of cheese encasing the entire thing that was so tough and brown that it looked like leather, I get what they were going for but there was no flavor to it sadly. The bread they used seemed too sweet and overbearing for the sandwich and the meat had little flavor. To be fair, the Birria Grilled Cheese Sandwich does look exactly like the pics on DoorDash (so not falsely advertised) so I won't be adding pictures of mine because I tore it apart trying to get to just the meat so I coulda actually eat something. The consomé was also a little sweet which I'm assuming was coming from the onion used in it, but again, was just not the right flavor. Circling back, if you order the Birria Grilled Cheese Sandwich please do not get a side of truffle fries, not the best combo lol. "We tried Coffee Republic a while ago, it was so delicious and nearby our work place! Should be a quick easy delivery, but they take just as long as a places across town to prepare orders.
Since my first order, it has declined in quality each consecutive order. It doesn't seem to matter what flavors you ask for in the coffees or how much you pay extra for them, they are always the same. Save yourself the money and don't add flavor, the Mocha is still good!
I also used to love the Sunny Side up (Sammy). But recently it is just egg and cheese on bread. It's consistently missing the yummy peppery housemade aioli that really makes it so good and worth the price. This time, I got a whole sandwich instead of just a half, however, so that made up for the disappointment a little. Also, the egg was a very unappetizing color, but still tasted fine.
Overall, the quality has declined enough that I am often disappointed in what I receive for the price. I will not be ordering from here as often as I used to. "
