"The Roasted Pear & Candied Fig was ok. The concept is pretty good but the ratios were a little off for me. The fig was in big chunks which I didn't like; I like a little of each flavor in each bite and the texture was chewy. Overall the flavor was a little dull. It could have used more salt in a component like the rosemary cream. The sweetness of the pear was also a little absent. Using a pear and onion jam would probably go a long way to bring that forward, or more of it if it's there already. Each flavor is good but they all need to be turned up a little.
