The reason for my rating is that the eclairs and croissant were fine, not great. The coffee one was subpar to be honest. The mini croissant was comically small for the price. I would have been fine with it if everything had a bakery quality taste. Instead, the desserts reminded me of store brand desserts.
The gateaus were bland but my partner liked the texture.

I really appreciate the little additions Human Bean provides like the stir stick in the lid to prevent spilling when driving and the coffee beans they give every order. I usually give those to my Mother In-Law who loves them, but they're a nice treat added to your order. DB's has 2 flavors I believe and Human Bean has like 6 or something. The only thing I was kind of bummed about would be the prices for coffees. They start their small sizes off at the same pricing of every other coffee houses large/venti size. So my large 20 oz. super basic white chocolate mocha with no additions cost almost $8. Eeek! And yeah, it's good coffee, but the coffee itself is nothing special in comparison to any other coffee house (no offense to the barista's - y'all are wonderful!). The coffee bean is a great little treat, but not worth an extra $3 imo. If the pricing was at least comparable, I'd order here more often since the lines are always shorter or empty, they do have more options for muffin tops, AND they do provide more typical drink options when ordering through the delivery apps in addition to being readily available FOR delivery on the foodie apps (where as DB does not and SB is inclusive to Uber and it's sister partners only). Other than coffee costs alone (food pricing is average for all coffee houses which makes coffee pricing differences kind of confusing) - it's not a bad place. I loved another version of this burger back home, being homesick, I was over the moon to find another burger King inspired.
At nearly $19 for just the burger (before delivery), I had some sticker shock. After eating it? Iād honestly pay more.
And let's be real, if you want good food, quality ingredients, and thoughtful preparation these days, this is a median price point.
Quit eating crap burgers and sink your teeth into this guy.
Iām usually not a smash burger fan, but this is exactly the kind of burger that should be smashed. Every flavor blends together perfectly.
The homemade peanut butter was incredible. Iād buy a bucket of it if they sold one. The bacon was thick, smoky, and somehow still perfectly crisp without tasting burntāa rare accomplishment. The potato bun was the softest bun Iāve ever had, and the entire burger was rich, indulgent, and honestly large enough that some people could split it.
Now for the story behind this review.
Yesterday I ordered from them and had an awful DoorDash experience. I waited over two hours while watching the driver circle my neighborhood. My wifeās sandwich eventually arrived looking like it had been pulled out of the trash, and my burger never arrived at all.
Today I called the cart and spoke with the chef. He couldnāt have handled it better. He was genuinely empathetic, took ownership of making things right, and immediately went into problem-solving mode. He even banned that Dasher from delivering for the cart in the future, included a complimentary order of their cafĆ© fries with my order, and left me a handwritten note letting me know that driver would no longer be doing business with them.
Then, after the food arrived, the chef personally called to make sure everything had worked out.
That is customer service.
Itās easy to judge a business when everything goes perfectly. The real test is how they respond when something goes wrong. Milwuakie Cafe Cart absolutely nailed it.
If this burger was this good after delivery, I canāt imagine how incredible it is fresh off the grill. Itās officially on my list of Portland-area must-tries."
