Big portion, homemade herb vinegarette that even my 11 year old enjoyed (and she usually only likes homemade). I got the Grumpy sauce on the side because I'm never sure about sauce. It reminded me of a Thousand Island Blend. My Daughter got the Grumpy Burger , perfectly medium, as requested, even with delivery, and their bread is so much than a bun! My daughter ordered the coleslaw and didn't care for it because it wasn't all sugared up. I got the coleslaw to add to my sammich, had half my salad, half my sammich and had a second meal. I ordered their French toast with eggs and bacon, and it was absolutely amazing. The bacon wasn't the texture of jerky and was well salted. They actually put salt AND pepper in the eggs, plus they kept the whites instead of just giving you a sad, bland mass of yolk like other restaurants tend to do.
And the French toast. My God, the French toast is everything. It was perfectly spiced, pillowy soft with a buttery crust, and subtly enhanced by the lightest dusting of sugar on top. It was so good I didn't even bother using the syrup because I didn't want to change the flavor, and it didn't need any help.
The portions were very fair, and the prices are extremely reasonable.
