"I love Melo's! Mainly because since moving to the West coast 46 years ago I've had a terribly bad time trying to find a pizza sauce, spaghetti sauce, or dipping sauce that could measure up to the pizza and other sauces that I had growing up in Chicago. Well, Melo's is by far the closest I've come. And the pizza crusts are so crispy and chewy. Their pastas are absolutely delicious 😋. It's my favorite pizza joint that I've ever had out West. Their meatballs are very close in flavor and texture as well. I think it a great place to take the family for dinner and the staff are friendly and on top of everything. It's even a nice place to have an informal date. If you haven't already, give it a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed at all."

"I’ll be honest — I’m usually not the biggest fan of the pizzas at California Pizza Kitchen 🍕😅 BUT… their pasta dishes completely surprised me.
One night while staying at a nearby hotel, I was seriously craving Chicken Piccata, and this place absolutely delivered. I ordered it with the pappardelle noodles and WOW. The noodles were wide, thick, fresh, and cooked perfectly. The chicken itself was tender and cooked beautifully, and the piccata sauce was honestly one of the tastiest I’ve had in a long time. Super flavorful, comforting, and exactly what I was hoping for.
If you are craving Chicken Piccata, this dish really hits the spot 🍋🍝
My only complaint from one past order was that I added a side of mac & cheese and somehow only received a container of macaroni with cheese sauce instead of the full dish I paid for. I honestly forgot to complain about it at the time, and mistakes happen, so I’m not holding it against them long term.
Overall though, definitely do NOT skip the pasta dishes here. They are made very well and were honestly much better than I expected. I’ll absolutely order the Chicken Piccata again."

The Lobster Ravioli was a Valentine's Special that they ended up adding to their regular menu - and I'm so glad they did. The flavors are well-balanced making it the perfect Spring dish. "I have been a loyal customer of Primos for over 10 years and have always enjoyed dining in at the restaurant, which is why this experience was so disappointing.
Tonight was actually my very first DoorDash order from Primos, and unfortunately it was a really frustrating experience from start to finish.
I ordered the Chicken Marsala, which I have ordered many times dining in, along with a small side salad that included one ranch dressing. I also paid extra for an additional large ranch dressing. When my order arrived, the extra large ranch was completely missing.
I called the restaurant hoping they could help resolve the issue, but the manager, Spencer, simply told me I would need to contact DoorDash. I did contact DoorDash, and they also could not do anything to get the missing ranch delivered. The ranch was important because it was meant for a larger salad I was preparing for company.
What upset me even more was the lack of accountability or even a simple apology. Mistakes happen, but the way the situation was handled made me feel completely dismissed as a longtime customer.
The food quality was also shockingly poor compared to what I am used to receiving in the restaurant. The chicken in the marsala did not appear to be the usual sliced chicken breast. Instead, it seemed like tough dark meat with skin and even a few small bones. The texture was rigid and unpleasant, and honestly nothing like the quality I have consistently received dining in over the years.
The portion itself also seemed noticeably smaller — probably around 75% of what you would normally receive inside the restaurant.
I understand restaurants likely make less profit on DoorDash orders, but that should never impact food quality, portion sizes, or customer service. If I had been served those pieces of chicken while dining inside the restaurant, I absolutely would have sent the dish back.
To be clear, my dine-in experiences at Primos have always been excellent, and I would still give the restaurant itself 5 stars overall. I’m posting this review in hopes that management recognizes that takeout and DoorDash customers deserve the same level of quality and care that dine-in customers receive.
As someone who has lived in Danville for over 40 years and supported Primos for a very long time, I left this experience feeling extremely frustrated and pushed aside.
Before I dine in again — which I likely will because I do genuinely enjoy and support local businesses — I do plan to speak with management directly. Unfortunately, I definitely will not be placing another DoorDash or takeout order after this experience."

Something about the Bacon & Eggs, despite the simplicity, just makes us keep ordering it– everything seems to be prepared just right and it's a decent portion size.
We've had a few different crêpes and haven't been disappointed yet, but the Monkey Treat is our simple go-to. "PAL has been one of my fav restaurants since the day it opened.
It's been about a year or so since my last visit, but the Heirloom Potato Pizza has stood the test of time. It was as good as the first time I orderd it.
The Apple and Wild Arugula Salad was delicious but could haveused some toasted walnuts or pecans.
I really wanted to order the warm Brussels sprout salad but wasn't able to request "no bacon." I love that ordering on Door Dash allows so many additions to items ordered, but it would be great if PAL allowed items to be removed as well.
And of course the Warm Rosemary Focaccia and Castelvetrano Olives were fabulous.
