This is my third time ordering Katana Sushi, and I must say, the food was absolutely delicious, I found myself particularly enamored with their spicy salmon skin hand roll. It was simply fantastic and quickly became my favorite dish on their menu.
In addition to the fantastic hand roll, I also tried their spicy tuna roll and jalapeno crab roll, both of which were quite tasty. The flavors were well-balanced, and the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. It was evident that the chefs took great care in preparing each dish.
I opted for delivery service, and I was pleasantly surprised by the presentation and portion sizes. The food arrived in a timely manner and was neatly packed, ensuring that everything was still in perfect condition upon arrival. The servings were generous, satisfying my appetite without leaving me feeling overwhelmed.

The Beacons Roll was really unique and the tuna was so tasty on top, but for the price I felt it was pretty small. The Swamis roll was simple but also tasty and a better size. Also got a Salmon Roll which is just a traditional maki roll and it was teeny tiny. Mostly rice for $15...not worth it at all. Will come back for the special rolls but would be a more frequent customer if the value was better. "
"Katsu sauce was not good. some rolls were decent but jnow they are small. if you get one of the rolls "gluten free", they dont modify it to replace whatever isnt gluten free with another fish already in the roll, they just take it out. so i had a roll with crab inside and they removed it (because apparently it isnt gluten free) and then left the middle of the roll with just cucumber. auch a waste of money!!"

"We ordered the Tteokbokki, Ex-GirlFriend(Soy Paper) Roll, Agedashi Tofu, Chicken Karaage, and the Entrée - Bulgogi Teriyaki. All of them except the bulgogi were bad. The Tteokbokki had undercooked rice cakes, and tofu inside it tasted awful. The Ex-GirlFriend(Soy Paper) Roll was ok, but were very small and very expensive for 6 rolls. The Agedashi Tofu were tiny (about an inch wide and an inch tall), and had absolutely no flavor. The Chicke Karaage were small and didnt have a lot of flavor. They were also a grayish color, not a crispy color like in the photo they advertise. Would not recommend this place. Spend your money somewhere else. "

"All the makings of a San Diego hotspot. First off, I've been to a lot of sushi places in SD, LA, and SB and I can confidently say that this the hands down best sushi place of the 15+ sushi restaurants I've been to. My dad has traveled to Japan probably a dozen times over the last 10 years and he always told me the best way to judge the quality of a sushi restaurant is the wasabi and how quickly and fully it dissolves in the soy sauce - out of all the places I've been to, this is the ONLY place I've seen the wasabi dissolve in the soy sauce. Anyways, me and my girlfriend come her 1-2 times per week and have been given 5-star service by the owner and the other waiters at URBN. We are both very active do MMA, workout 3-5 times per week, and are very serious about our diets - no seed oils, processed foods, etc and we have found that URBN Sushi fits are dietary needs and is a great addition to our heavy ribeye diet. As long as we live in San Diego, this will be the only place we go to and even if I lived outside of UTC, I would drive 30-45 minutes just to have the sashimi platter with blue fin tuna and our personal favorite the Spicy Salmon Baked roll. Also, try the Tiramisu for desert! Great place for a date or if you just want to enjoy some fresh fish!"
