Joey's had a chokehold one me and I can't seen to do ordering from them.. the Mini Short Rib French Dips (Half Order) is one of the best menu item. it's Michelin ⭐ worthy...
and the seafood ..... omg ......like a said ... a choke hold....
perfectly packaged too. don't ever change the menu please. I need to try everything because you haven't failed yet.

The miso mushroom is absolutely amazing, such a rich, flavorful dish that I keep coming back for. And what a wonderful surprise to find gluten free brownies included as a sweet treat! That kind of thoughtfulness really goes a long way. Thank you, Joey La Jolla!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I ate in the restaurant during one of the first weekends when they opened at UTC.
I got the seared salmon sushi and steak with the French dip app. I believe I also got one of the fish dishes. I ordered an old fashioned as well.
Everything was delicious and tasted unique. Portion sizes were good and decently priced. However my drink came very late into the meal but the staff was so kind that they didn't charge for it!
Overall it was a great experience and the food was delicious. I would definitely go back. I actually liked it so much that I ordered to go and I got their steak and spaghetti which is also very delicious.

The buy one get one free chicken quesadilla option was spot on! Very flavorful and the three different sauce choices they send were also very good. French fries weren't the very best but they're definitely in the top quartile . It's nice when you're out of town and get a good meal without having to Wade through a bunch of shitty ones !

Short rib toasts were so good! The meat was a bit rough but despite that it was amazing.
The ceviche was soo good. My favorite. Extremely lemony and sour and spicy with the chili oil. Perfection!
I really want to try the butter cake as it’s my favorite dessert! I also really want to try the Udon carbonara!
