"I grew up going to the original Bubbakoos in Point pleasant and this was nothing compared to it. There was no cilantro or lime in the cilantro lime rice. It was plain white rice. Every item looked slopped together instead of thoughtfully prepared. It felt like everything was overloaded with toppings just to make the portions look bigger. More isn’t always better....
The ricotta toast had so much ricotta and bacon that I thought they forgot the toast part (ha). The cream cheese was piled on so dang heavily it overwhelmed the bagel.
Another sandwich was completely buried under a mountain of lettuce, to the point you couldn’t even see what had actually been made. Even the bacon and eggs looked carelessly thrown together, that bacon does NOT look edible to me. Maybe someone else might want to eat that, but not me.
Nothing looked fresh, balanced, or appetizing. Presentation matters, especially when you’re charging premium prices. The photos speak for themselves.
