Multiple pieces had a springy, rubbery, gristly/cartilage-like texture instead of the uniform texture you would expect from white-meat chicken. I actually had to stop eating and pull the pieces apart because the texture was so unpleasant, and the photos show what was inside them. If I’m paying over $20 for a white-meat sesame chicken entrée, I should not be biting into chunks of gristle and connective tissue. The entire meal became completely unappetizing, and I ended up throwing it away. This is an unacceptable quality of meat for the price, especially when white meat was specifically requested. What makes them my #1 is their food preparation. The chicken is well cleaned & prepared, & tastes delicious. The shrimp is always fresh (not stale and soft.) I am a vegetable lover, so I am always ordering their veggies. The vegetables are always fresh & crisp.
