"Don’t ever order food from this restaurant. We ordered the Oxtail tomato soup and intestine noodles. First the Oxtail soup was the worst I ever had, $29 for only one tiny oxtail and two poor pieces of tomato floating on the bland soup. The coriander was obviously not fresh at all, it’s yellow and has a weird taste. The whole soup tasted like someone’s leftovers that had been put in the fridge for two whole days, then microwaved in a rush to give to me. Second, the intestine noodles were even worse than a packet of instant noodles. The whole thing had no flavor or taste at all, the noodles mushy and soggy, the peanuts inside were small and sad. The noodles look like they were cooked by using an instant noodle pack but had added too much water to it. Please, if anyone sees this review, walk away from this restaurant, don’t waste your money! "

"Have been craving Dan Dan Noodles so bad since Noodle Harmony had to close and decided to try these. This was a soupier version than I'm use to but not bad. Large portion and the mild was definitely spicy but didn't blow my head off. Also got the pea tip with garlic which was yummy and I highly recommend and would definitely order again. Since the chili oil base was out of stock, I tried the pickled chili soup. It tasted like plain water-boiled food with a scoop of chili with no flavors at all. For over $60 with extra meat add-ons, the portion was underwhelming. The meat was chopped into tiny pieces and there wasn’t much of it, while the bowl was mostly potatoes and seaweed.
Only good thing is they do have nice packagings."

"The people who complain about there not being enough flavor must be taking crazy pills, or maybe they're just used to fake asian food that is drenched in soy sauce...because the food here is delicious, and absolutely authentic. "Glad to see this popular brand from China open in Los Angeles. Upon unboxing, the packaging alone already gives a strong impression of sincerity and care. Though the flavor and number of dishes in the menu is discounted compared to the ones in mainland China, some simple improvements can be made. Firstly, it would be better if more braising sauce is given to the beef rice bowl, considering the generous amount of rice provided. The rice quality is mediocre, therefore I would recommend replacing it with jasmine rice from either Thailand or Northeast China (where the best are grown and not very expensive in fact) which is more aromatic and flavorful, while being a more traditional choice for this dish. Lastly, the woodear mushroom is too sweat to me and I feel like it would be better if made into a savory course instead, highlighting the refreshing flavor of woodear mushrooms. What I particularly enjoy about is the flavorful Lamb Shaomai (which pairs excellent with chili oil of Lee Kum Kee) and the tender beef stew, plus the edamame which enhances both the flavor and texture of the dish. By the way, the amount of vegetable in the combo is low so I look forward to choices such as adding cooked green vegetables that are chopped into small dice or brunoise to the dish. Mastering these elements is the key to creating Chinese cuisine that is genuinely flavorful, nutritious, healthy, and authentic. Keep it up!"

Most of the meat was clearly low-quality scraps and edge pieces, not proper cuts at all. The texture was tough and unpleasant.
One particular chunk of meat had a strong, disgusting odor — fishy, gamey, and clearly not fresh.
It tasted so bad that it was almost impossible to eat, and the smell stayed in my mouth long after, making me feel sick.
This food was nearly inedible, yet the price was extremely high.
For this quality, the cost is completely unreasonable.
Overall, the dish was very hard to eat, tasted awful, and absolutely not worth the money.
I would not recommend this place and will not order again."

"This was our first order for delivery. It appears they were too busy to keep on time for orders to be delivered. Our driver was great.
The salt and pepper wings were extra dark, overcooked & chewy. The portion of onions and peppers were great, very generous.
The tofu was a bit lazy, giant cubes with gentle plain corn starch coating. we requested mild spice with the sweet chili sauce. The spice was nonexistent and there was no chili anything with in the styrofoam container.They did include a runny sweet and sour sauce. The plastic containers melted from heat and poured all of the tofu; both boxes.
Poorly packaged. It was unfortunate and too sweet. We toasted and used spicy mayo and chili crisp at home to try and save it.
The walnut shrimp catered to the sweet side, and overpowered the taste of anything else.
The steamed rice was perfect and well portioned. The red bean sesame balls were just like the kind and the frozen section they were cooked crisp."
