I was excited to support Juliana’s Bakery & Sweets after hearing great recommendations about the cornmeal guava mini cakes. I walked there early in the rain specifically for those items and was told in person they were unavailable, with staff stating they are made every other day.
After returning home, I checked DoorDash and saw the exact same cakes available for pickup within 30 minutes, which was both confusing and frustrating. This meant I made a second trip back in the rain because the information I received in person did not match what was being offered online.
Additionally, my order included a vanilla cupcake with dulce de leche, which was unavailable, but instead of notifying me beforehand or allowing me to approve a substitution, the store made that decision without my consent.
While I appreciate the handwritten apology note, better communication, accurate inventory, and customer transparency are necessary. Customers deserve consistent information and the ability to make informed purchasing decisions.
The desserts were enjoyable, but the overall experience left me disappointed due to poor communication and conflicting availability information."

"I'm back again lol I ordered the original chocolate chip, triple chocolate chip, milk chocolate chip, and oatmeal deluxe cookies (group pictured in the order listed---I think at least---minus the oatmeal one). For $18 for the gyro plate, and $9 and $10 for the hummus and tapenade I’d expect so much more. Also, I asked for water and was surprised that they don’t sell bottled water or have bottled water— all they have is tap water, which was extremely surprising for a restaurant with these kinds of prices."
