You’d also definitely miss that signature tangy flavor on the sandwiches bread
One more thing: if you’re serving food in a box that needs to stay flat, don’t package it in a handled bag the moment the dasher lifts the bag by the handles the food slides into a corner. Of course the one who picks it up should carry it carefully too but the packaging should be designed to prevent that from happening in the first place. Simply use bags with a wider base for these orders so it stays flat during transport.
Overall, this is a hard pass for me."

"This is my favorite place ever. I pick up lunch from here almost weekly, and sitting down for their all-you-can-eat is amazing too. This is by far the best Dimassi's location in the entire Houston area. Food is always hot, deliciously spiced, and prices are great. I am so sad to be moving away, I will miss this place so much, their hummus selection is amazing (spicy hummus!!!) and I usually love to order the Chicken Kabob Plate for pickup. "First time trying this place. The samosas are large and so tasty. The only thing is that I have to put it back in the oven to toast them up because they got soft on their way here. Otherwise, excellent.
The lamb shank is tender, rice pilaf is done beautifully just heavy handed with the raisins. With the cucumber salad on the side, I got naan to go along with it. They didn't send the green sauce, which I would have liked to overall give the milk it's completeness. The lamb is very tender the bone falls right off."

My 100% Afghani partner who came to the states from Afghanistan back in 2022 was at a truck stop resting in between trips and he was in the mood for Real Authentic Afghanistan food just like home.
The Kabuli pulao was excellent, he said the meat was fresh. This satisfied him and was authentic and approved.
(If you're new to Afghani food, your first try should always be the Kabuli Pulao, as that is Afghanistans national dish!)
The Naan was also perfect, he said it was "really good naan" - another approval!
Now he didn't order anything else, so we don't know how the rest of the food tastes, but if they got the Kabuli Pulao right then it deserves a 5 star rating !
The food came with salat (fresh veggies) on the side to crunch on between bites which gives to refreshness .
Portion was standard for Kabuli Pulao which is A Lot in my opinion. 2 people could share one portion if they wanted to.

The cauliflower was amazing just a little spicy on the end and oh so tasty. Gyro Plate meat was tender and flavorful. Pita was soft yet supprted my hummas perfectly. "Flavor-wise, this place delivers. Everything was well-seasoned and genuinely deliciousno complaints there at all. The only downside, especially for the price point ($26–$27), was the portion size. The beef came as very small tenderloin pieces, and there were about four shrimp total. A bit more beef would have made the value feel more balanced. That said, the flavors were on point and clearly well-executed it’s really just the portion-to-price ratio that gave me pause."

"Delicious food. Today I ordered the Pita Sandwich with lamb and all the fixings. It was superb, filling and tasty. Then for dessert I had the fabulous Baklava which did not disappoint. It's fresh and the philo was flaky and sweet. It's nutty with the pistachio filling with cinnamon notes and honey drizzle between the layers. To die for! Try this place! I sure will order again!"

"This is the real deal. This is kibbeh like my daddy used to make at home. .No other place in Houston does it like this. It's authentic. Brings back some happy childhood memories from long ago. The owners are so nice. They were out of the frozen half pan that I was trying to order, and they called me to tell me that they had 3 triangles left in the freezer, so we changed my order so I could get my Kibbeh! So delicious. The triangles are huge too.
