My 100% Afghani partner who came to the states from Afghanistan back in 2022 was at a truck stop resting in between trips and he was in the mood for Real Authentic Afghanistan food just like home.
The Kabuli pulao was excellent, he said the meat was fresh. This satisfied him and was authentic and approved.
(If you're new to Afghani food, your first try should always be the Kabuli Pulao, as that is Afghanistans national dish!)
The Naan was also perfect, he said it was "really good naan" - another approval!
Now he didn't order anything else, so we don't know how the rest of the food tastes, but if they got the Kabuli Pulao right then it deserves a 5 star rating !
The food came with salat (fresh veggies) on the side to crunch on between bites which gives to refreshness .

"By far, the best egyptian/mediterannean food that I've had in Houston. This is an authentic restaurant that tastes as it would back in Egypt. The Ox Tail was incredible and fatty. The mixed grill was grilled to perfection. The bread for the hawawshi was soft yet crunchy with fresh meat inside. This is my new favorite spot to order, and the owner is great with packaging the food for delivery. Highly recommend trying an assortment of items, but the portions are very fulfilling. You can tell that the food is freshly cooked upon order and hot when it arrives, which is very important for me. 10/10"
