"The food was not that great. The bun on the buttery Bacon & Swiss Buttery Smashed Jack™ Combo, did not taste buttery Nor fresh. The two tacos we're stale, and the lettuce was old and wilted. I know the dasher brought the food promptly because the milkshake was still chilled and thick and the whipped cream was not melted away. The french fries were lukewarm and very salty. The portion sizes were good. The food was just poor quality.. "LAVA PASTA does not come with shrimp like the description says, apparently since i received none... but the flavor of just the pasta is amazing, but very spicy, which i dont mind, but some may. the Greek Salad was put into the same bag as the pasta, so it was a bit wilted by the time it arrived. the dressing is basically just oil and vinegar and they added cilantro to the salad, which i thought was an odd choice, but it was ok. Pasta bread was good and very nice price. the Tiramisu Cake had berries and chocolate syrup which strays from tradition, but the cake itself was actually very very good. all in all, it was a quite delectable meal that i would order again, although i would add shrimp to the pasta next time."

You’d also definitely miss that signature tangy flavor on the sandwiches bread
One more thing: if you’re serving food in a box that needs to stay flat, don’t package it in a handled bag the moment the dasher lifts the bag by the handles the food slides into a corner. Of course the one who picks it up should carry it carefully too but the packaging should be designed to prevent that from happening in the first place. Simply use bags with a wider base for these orders so it stays flat during transport.
Overall, this is a hard pass for me."

"The baklava was overwhelmingly sweet and it was soggy rather than crispy as it should be, I also could barely taste the nuts because all I got was super too much sugar from the syrup. The cinnamon hint felt completely out of place as well. I also tried the chocolate cake on a previous order and didn’t enjoy that either.
Howeverrrr everything savory I’ve tried here has been outstanding beyond yummy!!! The spicy cheese is addictive and pairs perfectly with the olive bread. "The food was very good. The time that DoorDash said that the food would be delivered went from 45-55 minutes to it being delivered 120 minutes after the order was placed. This was not a driver problem, it was a restaurant problem. The driver stated there was no one in the restaurant and she complained to DoorDash too. Please do better, the food is very good."

This is by far the best Dimassi's location in the entire Houston area. Food is always hot, deliciously spiced, and prices are great.
