This time it was barely charged and really soggy. Another thing I've noticed about the restaurant in general is that you cannot order Rice by itself. Rice is such a staple and Asian cuisine. Seems like the only way that you can get is the rice that comes inside the sushi pieces. I happen to have some leftover rice of my own, so I ordered the edamame planning on eating it with the rice. Fortunate the edamame was not very good. The cucumber salad was very good, though."

This dish was awesome! It was light and crunchy on the outside and tender & juicy on the inside.
When I refer to the inside, referencing the body of a softshell crab. That part has just the right moisture & tenderness.
Sounds of show crabs have one or two of their front claws still on and those are a little thicker than the other thinner and smaller claws that run up and down the sides of the body of the crab. The two primary claws, if still attached, have a little bit of tenderness to them since they have more volume than the other legs/claws.
The smaller legs and claws are thin so they are crispier through and through.
That crispy outside with a nuance of tenderness on the inside makes all of the small legs absolutely delicious and with a perfect texture throughout.
Twisted sister did an excellent job preparing the fried softshell crabs. both of my orders of the same thing were very consistent in quality and satisfaction. Both crabs were fried to the perfect point without over cooking.
I look forward to ordering from twisted sushi again in the very near future! They have a consistent, delicious and satisfying product..
The packaging is very nice looking while protecting their food they have he relief prepared following excellent technique in preparing and frying the two softshell crabs I ordered.
They could've gone with a less expensive inferior to go container, as my food would have arrived broken-up and/or crushed.
I'm glad you guys chose a better quality container to deliver those delicious softshell crabs in. They arrived in perfect condition.

"The SALMON KAMA BENTO is delicious! A bit too well-done, but collars are hard to get the right temp on. The only thing I would suggest is the restaurant adding a side of ponzu for the kama. A hamachi kama option would also be amazing!
The Baby Octopus Skewers also had amazing flavor, just very tiny.

"Unagi Bento not worth the money; better off getting the salmon bento and ordering an unagi cut roll separately. There's veryyyyy little actual unagi in the bento, and you also get a downgraded side of edamame instead of a roll. Just doesn't make any sense when compared to the other bento options.
Miso Soup was okay. I added a bit of salt. Wish there was more umami and if they added silken tofu it'd be a lot better.
Chicken Kara-age Bento this was good! The chicken is pretty dark/overcooked but just by a tad.
