I am giving this location one star solely because of my experience with the employee who prepared and handled the orders. The restaurant itself was very clean, organized, and the food tasted good.
My concern is with the repeated solicitation of tips. If a tip jar is available, it should be the customer’s choice whether to leave a tip based on the service they receive. It is uncomfortable and inappropriate for employees to verbally request tips before customers have even received their food or paid for their order.
While I was there, an elderly couple came in to pick up an order that had apparently been placed for them by someone else. They seemed confused about the process and were charged over $30 for a foot-long turkey and cheese sandwich, two bags of chips, and two cookies. Before they were even handed their order, they were asked to leave a tip. Despite appearing hesitant and possibly on a limited budget, they felt pressured to contribute what little cash they had available.
To make matters worse, the gentleman later realized he had only received one cookie instead of the two he paid for. He appeared embarrassed and chose not to return to the counter to correct the mistake.
I fully understand the importance of tips—I worked as a waitress for many years. However, tips should be earned through good service and left at the customer’s discretion, not requested in a way that makes customers feel obligated or uncomfortable.
The cleanliness of the restaurant and the quality of the food were excellent, but the employee’s behavior significantly detracted from the overall experience."

For the Chicken Waffle, the chicken was burnt and the waffles were really soggy, like past the point of just being in a hot box with condensation, and it really had no discernible flavor? Just kind of..mush. It also didn't have anything on it like on the picture or in the description, FYI. The egg sandwich we got on a bagel and asked in the comments to add mayo and american cheese. We were upcharged, as expected, but it had neither one on it, and the bagel was just straight out of the bag, unheated since its first bake at the factory. The corned beef had no seasoning, and neither did any part of the French toast. I don't know if we caught them at the end of their day or what, but I can't believe it was just that because it was the products themselves that lacked any kind of seasoning. I don't even want to talk about the Grilled Ham and Cheese because I think the pig must still be alive, with the amount of ham we had. They barely sliced any off the poor guy. "
