Exotic Wings in Homewood continues to be one of those spots that surprises you with how consistently fresh their food is. On this visit, I ordered the Beef Baked Potato, and it came out hot, hearty, and well‑portioned. The chopped beef was tender, the sour cream was fresh, and the potato itself was cooked perfectly all the way through. I expected the seasoning to be a little saltier, but even with the lighter profile, the flavor still held up and blended well with the potato.
The dish wasn’t overly crispy, more of a soft, loaded comfort‑style baked potato, but the taste was solid. What stood out most was the freshness. Exotic Wings has a way of keeping their ingredients tasting clean and real, and that’s something I appreciate every time I go.

Ordered on Father's Day and didn't know if they were open so I decided to call the store before ordering. Didn't catch his name but a younger man picked up the phone and very politely answered my questions. Even asked my name so he could make sure it happened.
He did not disappoint and not only that the food was to die for. The flavors are right on the money (I got hot and teriyaki and he got bbq and sweet chili), the meat fell off the bone, the fries were over loaded.
My new wing spot and the only thing I'm sad about is I haven't tried it sooner. 11/10 and I can't wait to try them in person."

"One of my favorite taco trucks around. This truck has hands down the best Lengua in all of Birmingham!!! Their corn tortillas are always warm, soft, and buttery, not cold, tough, and doughy. However the Lengua is well seasoned and marinaded with amazing flavor that it is so juicy and tender it just falls apart. If you want tacos or you want a burrito, you can not go wrong with their Lengua as your choice of meat. I will also say that they have a great menu selection full of options. The LG Birria Pizza is quite the dish, especially if you're looking for something to share with your significant other or friends. And you can not go wrong with their Chips and Queso either.

I ordered two breakfast tacos through DoorDash. The DoorDash experience and my delivery driver were both excellent.
I ordered the #1 Taco with Tender Belly bacon, scrambled eggs, and Monterey Jack cheese, along with the #4 Taco with chorizo, scrambled eggs, and Monterey Jack cheese. Unfortunately, the tacos themselves were disappointing.
I understand the concept of breakfast tacos and how the different ingredients are intended to work together to create a balanced flavor profile. In this case, however, the scrambled eggs, which made up most of the filling, had virtually no flavor. Even a small amount of salt or basic seasoning would have made a significant difference. It felt like the expectation was for the meat alone to flavor the entire taco.
The #1 taco contained only a single strip of bacon, while the #4 had a decent amount of chorizo. Even so, neither taco came together in a way that justified the price.
Overall, the value just wasn’t there. The ingredients may have been fresh, but the lack of seasoning and the portion of bacon left these tacos falling well short of expectations."
