"My new favorite taqueria! The chorizo they make is really flavorful and crispy! Just how I like it. Everything is fresh and well put together. The super burritos are on the smaller side than I am used to but the taste and quality makes it worth every penny I spent. I hope they stick around for a long time to come. Love it!"
"We never ever have a bad experience at tacos el Tucan! Thanks for following thru on my "no pico" request, always appreciate when that's marked on the bag too so it's easy to tell which burrito is mine.
Crispy cheese is SO GOOD and the food is always super fresh, and enough for at least 2 servings! Yumm will be back (weekly oops)"

"Consistently delicious and a great value. the Carnitas Burrito is flavorful and crispy, the Chips + Avocado Sauce + Salsa always hit, and the Kids Burrito gets eaten without complaint every time. This is in our regular rotation for a reason!"
"Found this little gem one day looking for lunch. Absolutely amazing. The best part is that it's just as great through DoorDash as in it dine in! The Quesadilla De Masa is off the charts. I have celiac and I have never been able to find anything like this other than in my own kitchen. Really appreciative of that. The Al Pastor is nothing short of spectacular! It has the perfect amount of spiciness to actually accompany the flavor, and not annihilate your taste buds so that all you can taste is heat. Even if you're vegeterian or not, get the hongos as an add on. You really won't regret/forget it!! "

"Ok so obviously what I got was not Pozole but it was due to them being sold out and replacing it with their menudo. The menudo is very good, the broth has good flavor and the tripe is cooked great and soft to chew, I also bought a carnitas Taco Regular which was also very good. The carnitas were tender with crispy ends and a great flavor. You can tell everything is made pretty fresh and the portions are very good for the price. I've been here before and will definitely go back to try something different, they definitely do not disappoint!"
"This place is such a delicious spot for take out, delivery or dine in. They are soooo nice and their orange sauce is amazing. All their food is phenomenal and the prices are amazing for the area. "Food was def 10/10 and very much worth every dollar spent, nice big of chicken and I got sour. Cream on the side since it do come with it and I also added peppers to add a little spice "
"packaging of the food was alright, the food came in a paper plate and sealed with foil on top, which in most cases they would give my food in a container, but it could just be their personal preference. i only ordered three quesabirrias, but they added fries, grilled onion and pepino and rábanos. They also incorporated two sides of salsa (green and red.) I like that they added all that in my quesabirrias, but the fries had no flavor, no type of salt, which i was pretty bummed about, the were also still kind of raw. The quesabirrias were over filled with cheese, (that could also be personal preference) and the quesabirrias alone to me just didn't have any flavor, it was bland."

"Ordered before and it was consistent and delicious. Will order again."
"Ordered the birria wet burrito. Was missing guacamole, sour cream, cheese, and pico de gallo inside despite the description on the menu. Was topped with unmelted cheese and raw red onions and a little sour cream. Flavors were a bit bland and slightly sweet, no tang and barely any spice--not at all what I expected. Birria was okay but on the dry side and just tasted like shredded beef cooked in cinnamon. Burrito had black beans inside but I expected pinto or refried based on pics of other burritos on the menu, and the description didn't mention black beans. Paid over $20 for something I wouldn't have ordered at all if ingredients were described accurately. I know it's hard right now for restaurants but I do feel a little swindled :("

"Mini empanadas de leche were really good. Chicken Nuggets & French Fries weren't bad - so so. Pupusas were all really, really really good. However, my only complaint is all the pupusas were in the same container not labeled making it difficult to determine which is which and who gets what. "
"The plantains w beans and cream were really good, as was the yuca frito. The papusas were horrible. They barely had any filling and the masa was chewy. "The Enchilada ChickenRanchero is delicious. You are made to specify what kind of beans, thats fine. But then you must check a box for "extras", which I dont want, but checked "Salsa" for an additional 50 centsx2, (because we ordered two). Otherwise you cant purchase the food. The order came without the salsa that I was forced to pay for. That just leaves a rotten taste in my mouth. If youre going to force us to order extras, then give us what we paidfor ."

"I wish you could order a double order of beans, or have a cheaper rice option, instead of being forced to add a side of meat to the order of beans. However, the lengua option was super tender and delicious.
The Jalisco beans were just a bit spicy, but good to scramble into some eggs, or add to a bland soup, etc
The enchilada suiza has a lot more flavor and toppings than the regular enchilada verde"
"The carne asada taco and Al pastor were horrible-what kind of meat is being used.
I was a regular, I won't order again"

"This is the best vegan Carne Asada Burrito I have everrrr had, my boyfriend & I have been hooked since they opened! The bowls are also delicious and are enough for 2 meals. The lentils soup is also very good. My recommendation for the online ordering for doordash if they could add a salsa as a side, and carrots. 10/10 food. "
"Alpastor Burrito seemed as though it had no meat. I've ordered here for a few years and this is the first time I was disappointed. Also, I ordered a medium Jamaica, and it seemed as though it was a small. I cannot see the difference in the 3 sizes but I'm positive it wasn't worth the extra cost. I probably won't be ordering from here for a while because this was pretty disappointing."

"This place never disappoints! I've been coming here since I moved here from San Francisco and it's always good quality Pupusa Plate #1, Corn Pupusas / Maiz and can't forget the Platanos Fritos. Some other places use a pre-shredded cheese that gives it an uneven consistency, not this place. The Corn Pupusas / Maiz are a good size and not greasy, like other places. The cheese and other ingredients they use is top notch. I also recommend ordering the yucca frita with chicharrón. The pupusa plate comes with two pupusas, just in case anyone is wondering. "
"PORK,BEANS, CHEESE AND LOROCO/RFL MAIZ were hot & fresh, all a decent size. Toppings & salsa flavorful!Tamal De Elote nice and warm, came w/ a side of mayonesa. Delicious. & Affordable. Definitely would order again!"

"Loved the tacos, cucumber salsa, green salsa and the fact that you get to select your salsa and that you even get salsa. I love Latin food and salsa and most restaurants don't give you salsa with your order, and certainly don't have salsa options. Already looking forward to my next order.
"

"So good! Best fried chicken ever. Came extremely hot and crispy. Chicken pieces were great size and so juicy. Amazing!!! Fish taco was also so fresh and crispy. Sauces were great too and helped make every bite even more flavorful. Will order from again and again!"

"Stunningly delicious and complex mole, succulent chicken, pitch perfect refied black beans, and flavorful rice with micro green garnish. Flutas were as excellent as everyone has been saying, crispy, filled with generous shredded chicken, crema, cotija cheese, micro greens, edible flowers, watermelon radish garnishes in the form of rosettes elevated. Though I had to order it to go, Chef Ivan's presentation are works of art. Don't sleep."
"Fantastic quality and attention to detail. Huge portions. Ceviche was delish and the Burrito is different than other places, the meat is tender and so flavorful and arrived hot and cheesy. Also they fry the outside of the burrito lightly so it's a little crispy. Will be back again!"

"I think I just found my new favorite Mexican food restaurant. The food was extremely flavorful. The birria tacos meat was braised to perfection and the cheese pull was out of this world. But the thing I appreciated the most was that they give you a cup of warm consome complimentary which most places would charge extra for. After eating this food I'm ready for a nap. Highly recommended"
"Maria's is always a good choice for Mexican food while in Oakland. They have good sized plates for a great price and the food is really good. My Enchiladas, sopes, tacos, and menudo are always on point. I order from them often and will continue to do so."
