"I have been enjoying the Burritos and Tacos from here for the last two years. I routinely order the Carnitas with extra meat, onions & cilantro, sour cream, and red salsa - and that combination is always a winner. It's also big enough to have half for lunch and the other half for dinner!
I was shocked to read some negative reviews - I've tried almost everything on the menu and loved all of them - but I really prefer their carnitas tacos and Burritos.
I frequently request extra ice in my drinks and they never fail to follow my request. Sometimes they send a small cup of ice along with my Large Drink and I really appreciate that extra service!

"I was not a big fan of the Lomo Saltado. The value definitely seems good and the plate was filled with a lot of food. The problem I had was with the flavors. The filet mignon itself had a very liver like flavor to it. The green sauce also was a bit strange. It kind of tasted like it was mayonnaise based and had a bit of sweetness to it. The veggies and rice were cooked well though.
In this case the meat just may have been overcooked a little bit. I just really did not enjoy the sauce though and probably would not order this again."

The filling (which that day was a classic beef) was incredibly savory, well-seasoned, and juicy. It wasn't a dry empanada at all; every bite was comforting and delicious. A 10/10 start!
Arroz Chaufa con Carne (Beef Fried Rice)
Next, I tried the Arroz Chaufa con Carne. This is not just any fried rice; it's a masterpiece of Chifa (Peruvian-Chinese fusion) cuisine. The rice had that unmistakable smoky "wok hei" flavor that is so hard to achieve. The pieces of beef were tender and mixed beautifully with the rice, scrambled eggs, and fresh green onions. It was flavorful, satisfying, and perfectly balanced. I could eat an entire plate of this without stopping.
Tallarín a la Huancaína con Lomo Saltado (Huancaína-Style Noodles with Saltado Steak)
Finally, the star of the show: the Tallarín a la Huancaína con Lomo Saltado. What an incredible combination! The pasta was perfectly cooked "al dente" and bathed in a creamy, velvety Huancaína sauce, which had just the right balance of fresh cheese, ají amarillo (yellow chili), and a subtle spicy kick.
But topping that pasta with Lomo Saltado is pure genius. The steak was tender, juicy, and stir-fried to the exact point, with that characteristic smoky flavor, accompanied by red onions and tomatoes that still retained their texture. The combination of the creamy pasta sauce with the savory juices from the lomo saltado was simply divine. It's a hearty dish, packed with flavor, and
absolutely unforgettable.

The soy wrapped snow crab which I have attached a picture of was misleading they added crab on top and on the bottom of the hand roll and the middle was all rice! The owner claimed that I took too long to pick it up and stated that the price was not fair due to a $10 discount, which was not something I had control over. She also claimed that she could not remove the charge. This is not the first time she has made this claim. I was given the ceviche without spice and was asked if I wanted it extra spicy. The quality was not the best. I am unsure whether this was due to being rushed, but I have been coming here for years. Even so, the customer service was not appropriate, especially for a regular customer. I also had to wait for the causa de pollo to be prepared, and no utensils were provided. Overall, I was very dissatisfied with the treatment, quality, and service. I will not be returning. Unfortunately, you have lost me as a customer."
