"My mom and I went here the other day for the first time in person. The place itself looked amazing and very welcoming with the right vibe for the type of restaurant! We got the big kahuna burger (the one that is advertised on the front/side of their building) and it was absolutely delicious! Came with sides and a soda, I got onion rings and my mom got the homemade macaroni salad, both were very good. My favourite part is that you are able to build your own burger and add whatever toppings and however much you want!
We also got the shaved ice and definitely enjoyed it on a hot summer day. There was one called caramel apple (which is green apple syrup topped with caramel sauce), very interesting and was surprised with how good it was! The owner was super nice and very welcoming too! He kept interacting with us and was talking about his trophies he has, which was enjoyable to hear the passion he had in his voice when we were all talking! 100% would recommend to go again!"
"We were disappointed, not at all like food on the island. The bun was the best thing on the paradise chicken. The loco moco was meh and we had to add Mac salad on the side for $4.00 that looks and tastes store bought. I wish I had taken a picture of my "shave ice," which was more like snow cone ice with "First Street" syrup and it was $4.29 for a very small styrofoam cup. "
