"The chicken salad in the picture on the menu, showed it in a tortilla bowl. the Chicken Salad was not in a bowl, but had chips on the side. I actually really enjoyed the flavor of the chicken and ate it like nachos. A full sliced whole tomato, a full whole sliced avocado and shredded thinly sliced carrots were really fresh and tasty, as well as the green leaf lettuce. It was delicious and a healthy option. The steak was well served and the essence of the fire-roasted peppers complimented the smoky yet tender potatoes down from the first bite til the last. Tossed Chipotle and just serve a side of Chips and Queso so delicately crisp with each crunch and the sauce was definitely made from scratch. "Fantastic street tacos and their crispy tacos are just perfect (chicken is my preferred meat but your mileage may vary); these are the best tacos in town as far as I am concerned. Get the super hot habañero salsa, a side of red salsa and lots of their delicious chips and you can't go wrong. Some avocado slices and extra cotija cheese on the side really enhance the experience but you'll have to do that part yourself. Their guacamole is a fantastic substitute, though.
In the end, I absolutely recommend El Charro's, they are fantastic."

"Ordered the SUPER BURRITO with shredded beef and CRISPY TACO with shredded chicken. The burrito was very filling, taste was flavorful and the beef was tender. The chicken in the taco was just as tender, I'm guessing it was simmered in broth or marinated for a good while. Because of the juices at the bottom of the container, half the taco shell was soaked. The side that wasn't was crispy and is sprinkled with grated cheese (similar to jimboys). I also ordered the Habanero SALSA 2 oz and Fire SALSA 2 oz for $0.99ea. The habanero has an excellent habanero flavor with a nice heat on the back end. The fire salsa is more like a chili paste than a salsa, has excellent heat for spicy lovers. It seemed like a mash of peppers in oil, I liked the flavor but it may be a little earthy for some. All in all, I recommend it for your Mexican food fix and would definitely order again."

"First time trying the food here and the Carne Asada Fries are so good. They do not skimp on the sour cream when I requested extra. I love that I can choose the meat type. Flavor was really spot on. My new go to spot in Auburn, and I've tried all the Mexican restaurants and food trucks in Auburn.
