"O.M.G!! As a TRUE foodie from da H (not a transplant), this restaurant SURPASSED my expectations. I knew it was going to be good off the strength of the menu, so prior to my food's delivery, I saved it as my favs in Maps. GEESH!
On a foodie scale, this is a 20 out of 10! The pancakes and chicken sausages were so good, i had forgotten I still had my cajun grits- chef's kisses! A bit salty, but may be my transitioning from salt taste buds, but I truly appreciated the authentic cajun flavors.

"I just tried this restaurant for the first time. The Side Cheese Grits are the best cheese grits I have had in Houston. The Egg White Omelette is also solid. The "skillet vegetables" in the omelette include red and green bell peppers, onions, and salad tomatoes. The LATTE was just alright - nothing special. I finally ordered the Acai Me Please. This was most disappointing because it melted during transport and was missing ingredients, including coconut flakes and 24K gold. There was also very little granola in the bowl - like, 2/3 of a tablespoon. I ordered "extra fruit," and my bowl arrived with blueberries and chia seeds. Still, the picture on the menu boasts about twice as much fruit as I received, and I ordered and paid $2 for extra. I want to give this restaurant more stars. I really do. But the food is too expensive to be imperfect. $10 for a latte, $9.20 for a side of (albeit amazing) grits, and $18 for an acai bowl? And those costs are before adding the costs associated with delivery and service fees and tips? I have spent less at expensive restaurants, AND I have received better food from less expensive restaurants. Thus: 3 stars."

You can tell that there was a type of seasoning powder/bullion (probably knorr or sazón) used because that taste is very strong. Portion size is good, the container is filled all the way to the top. The sides were very fresh (cilantro, onions, jalapeños). Also came with 4 corn tortillas on the side. Came in two bags so the food was very secure and didn't leak. My only complaints are with the ordering experience and the toppings. On DoorDash, it wasn’t very clear that each taco is ordered individually. At $6.66 per taco, I was expecting more, so that was a bit disappointing.
