I've eaten here many times and even brought multiple different friends and they/we all love it every time. One of my friends is a hummus connoisseur all over the US etc and he says that Avesta's hummus is the best he has ever eaten (I simply like hummus and I think it is really good) so that's pretty high praise. I'll keep going back and can highly recommend it.

Fresh, delicious and generous sized portions. Plates come with ALOT of rice so if you're looking for more protein consider sharing a plate and adding more kabobs on the side. Super garlicky (but delicious) hummus, loved the side of herbs - basil, parsley and onions added a nice punch to add dishes ordered. Persian sesame bread was HUGE! 4 large pieces so FYI should you order that. We don't live in Houston but if we did we would definitely come back!!

I got the Persian lahmacun now traditional it's not cut its whole so you can roll it! Also it comes with either Presley or lettuce served with lemon! And of course sumac and red onion! Now the dish had the red onions only and it was cut!! The flavor was ok not as intense deep as I'm used to and the crust was too doughy not crispy , but it was good over all !! The hummus was so good

Delicious and super tasty. Really flavorful and great portions. Love the freshness and flavors. Love that I was able to add Adas Polo to the Koobideh Kabob order. And the Persian Sesame Bread is amazing and more than enough. I would reorder everything and more in a heart beat. Great choice!!
