"I am giving Hooley House only 3 stars because some of the food was good and some was just okay. First off, the French Onion soup was just okay. It's very small and mostly the cheese and a ton of croutons; hardly any soup. The Salmon was dry, over cooked and bland; the rice that comes with it was also very bland. However,the potato cake with applesauce was delicious. The salad was huge , filling and delicious. I got it with the grilled chicken because I am on a diet. The chicken was slightly dry, but that's probably from being delivered and not the restaurant's fault. It was still very tasty, as was the entire salad. And the funnel cake comes with ice cream and I added strawberry sauce; simple delicious . Not very big, but enough to satisfy your sweet tooth. And the Irish Spring Rolls Appetizers and sooooo good. For them alone, I will give this restaurant another try!"

That simple choice alone goes to show the care and forethought put into the food at this food. Most places dont care enough to give that choice, its about profit... This establishment breaks from that and provides quality on both fronts. The fresh Jalapenos felt like biting into a raw Jalapeno off the vine after being chilled in ice water, absolutely fantastic on the Yard Dawg, while the pickled Jalapeno I put on the 1/2 Pound Mushroom Swiss Burger had the right amount of bite without an overwhelming flavor.
As for the Loaded Spuds, I got about 40% more than I expected from competition for that price point, which is crazy, and all with that same care for ingredients.
Keep up the hard work, we will DEFINITELY be ordering again, and soon!!"

Portion on my meal was good, but looked like it was thrown around, taken out back and jumped. Sundae was delicious, taste of everything was good, I can't hate on the taste of the fries cause they're fresh and snappy, the dogs were good, buns got a wee bit soggy? It's aight though. "All pizza's are different. I prefer Bada Bing for the fresh sauce and it's tangy flavor. There is enough cheese that you don't have to ask for double cheese. I request that they don't add the additional "herbs" and cook it well but not burnt as sometimes it has been. I like a good "cheese" pizza occasionally and I think this is the best. They do need to add a paper liner to the box as the pizza "melds" to the cardboard. It can be difficult to peel the cheese off of it if you don't catch it early. That's the only complaint."
