Today, I'm happy to submit a much better review, as last night we gave them yet another shot and, for the first time in many orders, everything we ordered was included. The food was hot and tasted fresh.
I gave 4 stars, rather than 5, only because I tried the new BBQ Brisket Whopper (which is a sandwich priced north of $9 on DoorDash) and, while tasty, it had the tiniest amount of brisket and crispy onions on it. I had to dissect the sandwich to confirm that any of either was even there. Granted, when I ate the sandwich I could taste the brisket. But there was so little of it and of the crispy onions that the texture was exactly the same as that of my traditional Whopper.

"Well packaged, real, homemade mashed potatoes. Greens and green beans were also excellent. Cornbread was perfect. Gravy was good. The chicken fried steak was really small compared to the pictures, and it had quite a bit of gristle. Could have just been a bad cut/bad luck. Overall the meal was great. Ok-the pie. I really expected top notch bc of ratings and southern food... but the pecan pie tasted so salty it was as if someone dumped salt over the top. Couldn't eat it. I'll still order here again when I'm back in town. I just won't order the pecan pie for sure. "This is the first time I have ever submitted a negative review for a restaurant regarding a Door Dash order, but these bagels are virtually raw. A bagel is not a dinner roll. The outer shell is supposed to crisp/crunchy, with the inner part fluffy. Also, they are not supposed to be covered head to toe in whatever topping is ordered (which is probably why they are not cooked properly).
On the East Coast, these bagels would be an embarrassment. You have to cook them to a light brown color -- entirely -- and use the seeds/salt/garlic/onions, etc. to a sufficient degree, but not as a substitute for a crunchy shell."
