"I've gotten this place on a few different occasions and all I can say is I'm conflicted. I love the idea of a drive through dessert spot that also does coffees and energy drinks. Everything LOOKS and SMELLS good, decent portion sizes, and you can tell they put a lot of care into the presentation of the food. However, the food and drinks I've gotten from here has been subpar in taste. The espresso taste like it was bought premade from the store, and the mini pancakes taste like the premade frozen ones you buy in the frozen section. They use some sort of artificial sweetener in their coffee (specifically the iced cookie butter latte) and it can leave an aftertaste.
That being said, the cookie butter MILKSHAKE? Forget everything else I said, THAT, is perfection in a plastic cup. 10/10 no notes on that drink.
Overall, GREAT concept, but the quality of the ingredients leave some room to be desired."

The eggs are done the same in mini waffle makers keeping it safe for me to eat as well. The waffles are so moist and fluffy not like most gluten free foods. They also give me a cup of salsa verde which makes the whole thing so good. The workers are amazing they work hard and keep the restaurants environment welcoming snd friendly. Highly recommend. They also have pistachio and toffee nut syrup for my coffee and Starbucks only has those during two months out of the year. Hands down they are the best. I love Red Elm. I asked if they could find out and they told me the potato and tomato was probably vegetarian. Sorry but when I'm vegetarian I don't want to be accidentally eating meat in my soup.
