The night before, I ordered the combo plate with goat, oxtails, and stewed chicken with rice & peas and steamed cabbage… and listen 😮🔥 it was that good. So good that on my second night, I ordered the exact same combo again—just flipped the ratio with more oxtails than goat and added an extra side of steamed cabbage because now I know better.
Everything was seasoned perfectly, the meat was tender, the sides were on point, and the portions were generous. Great quality, great service, and consistently delicious. Ending my trip with this meal was the right decision. 10/10, no notes. I’ll be back."

"We were visiting from Dallas. Most of the food we had in Destin was overpriced and very undewhelming. We were hungry and wanted somehing good, but were exhausted from an afternoonon the beach. Decided to Door Dash and came across Papi's. We were a little skeptical , due to our previous experiences with restaurants in Destin, but after reading the reviews, we thought ok, let's give them a shot. Boy, were we glad we did! The quesadillas were delicious, but the star of the show were the Picadillo (Ground Beef) tacos. OMG! Some of the best we've ever had (and we're from Texas!). The Chips & Salsa were really good too. We will definitely hit them up again next time we're in Destin and you should too! In the meantime, Papi's, PLEASE open a location in Dallas!!! "

"OMG the Bigger Plate is huge. The broccoli beef was pretty good, just a bit too salty. It was equal parts broccoli and beef. The Beijing beef was great, it wasn't very spicy but it had a great flavor. The dynamite chicken was my absolute favorite, its spicy, I would compare the spice level to mango habenero wings. I really really enjoyed it. Plus the chow mein had plenty of cabbage and onions. Everything was great. And for only $15, I can't beat that price. Plus I have leftovers!"
