"I made a small delivery order online with Door Dash and the two items were really delicious.
The miso soup is made with white miso (instead of the red miso). I prefer white miso because it's less salty and lighter.
Secondly, the steamed gyoza has six pieces and the soy and vinegar sauce that is served on the side is very tasty. The gyoza here can be ordered steamed or fried. I was pleased that it accompanies the gyoza and isn't just straight soy sauce. I like to add a few drops of chili oil for a bit more flavor when I'm cooking it at home.
I am impressed with the flavor and texture of the food and will likely visit the restaurant in person next time. My only complaint is that the delivery didn't include chopsticks or napkins. So be sure to request it when ordering online.
Otherwise, this Japanese restaurant served pretty authentic Japanese-flavored food."

The Morro Combo was average at best: the meat on the asada tacos was dried out and not very flavorful, the sad corn tortillas were not homemade like others reported, just plain white corn like store bought and dried out too. Lousy rice and beans portion, I had more in my burrito. Good salsas tho overall I'd give it a 3/5. Portions are almost half of what they used to be. Items we've ordered have not been delivered. The cobb salad has lacked dressing, barely has enough chicken, and missing items such as eggs or tomatoes. The bison burger has become less flavorful. The food is overpriced for the quality and amount we receive. What used to be one of our go-to places for take-out is likely to be dropped from our list of favorites."

"Just happened to see this spot on Google Maps while looking for non-seafood places to eat at in Morro Bay. I am so glad we did - both service and food were amazing! We got a pick up order, and when we walked in the only front of house staff member (Justin) was taking an order, but he acknowledged us and said he'd be right there to help us which was so appreciated.
