I don't usually play with Curry this late, at 12:30 am, but with this restaurant I'm not scared. The Whole Fish (Red Snapper) fish is always good here and drained well and the escoveitch sauce is nice and balanced. This fish was cooked well and still soft inside while fried on the outside. Additionally, the codfish fritters were much larger than usual and not consistent with prior orders, where they were smaller and more balanced in texture and flavor.
Based on my previous experiences, the quality and consistency have always been much better, which makes this visit stand out in a negative way. It honestly felt like the evening/night chef may be different from the daytime chef, because the difference in taste and execution was noticeable.
