"DoorDash inflates the prices of the restaurants' menu items meaning the restaurant charges less for the same item. The box said $11.51 but the DD charge for the pizza was $15.35. There was a discount deal which took off $3 but that's a common ruse to inflate prices, then offer a percentage off, but the overall price with discount is still higher than what the restaurant sells it for. DD won't always offer a discount. The service fee and other fees were very low for this restaurant. I gave a 20% tip and the restaurant was only a half mile away. The delivery service was efficient.
The Create Your Own pizza was perfect, tasted great, and was made exactly as I ordered with options on how much sauce and the option to have the pizza well done which made it crispy. I appreciate those options."
