First, RE the food... There is a whole lot of nothing special here and it's overpriced in a five guys kind of way. $15 for the basic burger and fries ? Are you kidding me?
My first encounter with Shake Shack was a carry out order. Took forever a and they weren't that busy. They just dropped the unwrapped food into a cardboard tray and then into a huge bag. No napkins, no ketchup. I had to ask for both. Same today with the DD order. Again, no napkins, no ketchup. I mean if someone is ordering fried a at least you can do is OFFER ketchup.
As for the fries, on the carryout visit I saw that they had the crinkle cuts which made me very happy. I love crinkle cuts e especially if they cook them extra crispy. After getting my fries today, I now know they did nothing extra last time. Same fries.
As for the burger, one would think for the extra time it took from order to delivery that the burger would be friesh. Sure doesn't taste it. Tastes like someone made a batch of burgers in the morning and then reheated/ grilled up to serve.
End of the day, while certainly a serviceable lunch, I would rather drive another 5 minutes down the road to Freddy's. Their burgers are fresh and are actually a smash burger and lunch with a drink is about $12."

"Well packed- they separated the cold soda from hot food with foil. The NC Pulled Pork Sandwich was delicious and larger portion than I expected! Definitely get moneys worth! I do wish it mentioned the 4oz optional coleslaw would be put on the sandwhich, I would have put on the side but that was ok. I picked macaroni & cheese and green beans for sides, neither were anything special but not bad- mac & cheese was better than green beans which I'll likely replace with a full side of coleslaw next time cuz that was good.
