"I was having issues as the a la carte items (extra tortillas and extra chips) I wanted were on the dinner menu, but not the lunch menu. I put a note on my dinner portion lunch order, and to my utter shock, they DID it! I rarely, pretty much never, get a correct order. Either sides or condiments missing when really needing them, cooked wrong, entirely wrong order, etc.
I have been to this Ricardo's location many times in the past, but it's been awhile. I was aways not so happy with how long service took or just the meal didn't add up to the cost. But, I wanted to give it a try again via delivery with Door Dash. I am extremely happy I did as it blew pretty much every order I've had with Door Dash out of the water.
They followed my cooking temperature request on the steak. They saw notes in special instructions and ensured they were done. They went above and beyond to get it correct and provided those a la carte items. I was beyond pleased with all of that. I had even double dashed the order with Dollar General to get all the things I just knew the restaurant would forget. But, they didn't!
My only negative statement is regarding the Guacamole Dip. I've had it there many times. I got a large thinking it would be as always, but it wasn't. It was watery, like liquid on top and could drink it as thinner than a melted milkshake. For almost $11, that I was not too enthusiastic about. Not quite sure what happened to that. I had to pour liquid out by straining it as best as I could before even attempting to eat it. It was still watery.
Portion size on entree of Arroz Con Queso was great. Side item of Rice a little small for price. Guacamole Dip as mentioned total waste. Salsa with chips good single size. Big bag of chips as did a la carte extra. "
