Beignets were kind of...well...nondescript. The photo showed several Beignets, so I was surprised to discover the order only comes with three. They were gone in short order, because...well...we needed another order given the discrepancy.
The Southern Peach Tea and Strawberry Lemonade were decent, but definitely didnt feel like we hit the jackpot after paying$7.77 apiece. No sugar rimmed anything...just some styrofoam cups & pretty decent bev.

"Overall, not a fan. This is my second time eating at this restaurant and I have been disappointed both times. This time I got the Birria Ramen and a Side of beans . The Birria broth had okay flavor but was unusually spicy. The spice level would be fine for a side of consomme with tacos but for the broth to be that spicy especially in a large quantity is rough.
Not sure how you mess up beans. They were undercooked (how? they're refried) chewy and mostly flavorless. They don't even sprinkle shredded or cotija cheese over the top like 95% of other Mexican food places.
Overall, would not recommend this place. Old Town Mexican or La Unica are far better options and super close by."

"Super good food! Always consistently tasty! I can never decide which is my preferred pupusa; revueltas or queso con lorroco or queso con calabaza... so I always get one of each. The rice and beans are sooo good either together, as casamiento, or alone. The bistec encebollado is like a pot roast but with a tomato based sauce, really good with the rice too!
