"The Monte Cristo was not good, in my opinion. I am used to the meat and cheese being on a powered waffle or even bread/french toast, in some cases. Although this "deep fried" mess? I don't what to call it, frankly- was terrible. There was barely any meat and cheese, the flavor of the dough was like that of a carnival funnel cake and was extremely large in comparison to the rest of the sandwich. mashed potatoes were good and the sausage gravy, was a nice pairing- but had a semi weird flavor on its own. Also loved that they added a pickle, kind of weird for some people, I loved it- but I don't know if it goes with every dish. This is all my preference, so it could be different for everyone."
