But I was mistaken. When I finally got my order, I opened the chicken Shawarma plate and was immediately greeted by the aroma of a grill. I began to indulge. The chicken was cooked to perfection. The rice, serving as a plain and simple pallet cleanser. The fresh garden salad, as if it was picked from the Garden of Eden. The grilled potatoes, ohhh how warm, soft, and salty they were. And last but not least, the side of pickles so fresh that it reminds you of your Soviet grandma taking out a glass jar of her basement stored pickles. To wash it down, I got a Mexican coke because natural sugar cane tastes so good. As I conclude my experience, I want to thank the chefs, which this meal would not be possible without, and the owners, whose attention to care translates from the kitchen into the belly of many hungry Americans in Glendale, just before their weekday meeting."

"I ordered chicken biryani and a bottle of water, but the water was missing. The “biryani” did not look like biryani at all—it looked like plain pulaw rice with a few small pieces of chicken from curry. If biryani was unavailable, the restaurant should have called me before sending a substitute, but they did not. This is not good customer service. The chicken also tasted very old, like it had been cooked and stored for a long time. I ended up throwing the entire meal away. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and the restaurant should improve its food quality and customer service."
