Would have been nice if the added bread was put in the description as I would have indicated no bread. The potatos are raw and everything, including the scrambled eggs (it was not an omelet) is coated in black pepper. I had to throw it out because it was so awful and potentially contaminated with the bread. There was also peppers and onions mixed in. That wasnt part of the order. While I understand there are specific portions of each ingredient that are added to the bowl, there is no way that five pieces of romaine lettuce constitute a portion based on my experience of what would normally be served at the restaurant in person. Be careful when ordering Cava for delivery as you are definitely not going to get what you would normally get by visiting the store. When I picked up my order, I wasnāt told that one of the dressings I ordered was missing. I completely understand that restaurants can run out of things, but I would have appreciated being told and offered a substitute before leaving with my order.
When I got home, the salad looked great at first, although the portion was smaller than I expected. Unfortunately, once I actually got into the lettuce, I realized it was wet and soggy. Some of the lettuce even had black, slimy-looking spots on it, and I couldnāt bring myself to eat it.
I ended up taking the toppings off and eating what I could, but even the vegetables didnāt taste fresh. The steak cubes were hard and tasted more like pot roast than steak. It was honestly gross.
For $16, I expected fresh ingredients and a salad I could actually eat. I really hope they improve the quality because the concept is great, but at this quality, itās just not worth the money.
Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend it."
