Honestly, it had to be one of the best sandwiches I've had from this place. The bread was soft not dry or hard at all and it had the perfect amount of everything. It wasn't sloppy either, which I really appreciated. If I come back, I'd definitely go when he's working. l'a rate it a 10/10, and I would absolutely get food from here again."

"This is our first time trying the Cricket and OMG!! We ordered the Out n In burger, the tallow fries, the Pork Belly burnt ends and the banana pudding. Neither of the entrees came with a side, but the one order of fries was more than enough for 2-3 people, and probably the best fries I've ever eaten! I can't even imagine how good some of those fries with brisket might be, but I will be sure to find out and let everyone know. My husband said the burger was great- he's pretty black and white when it comes to food, but he ate the whole burger and was very full and happy. I ate the pork belly. When I ordered it I was worried. I'd had pork belly once before and I couldn't eat most of it because of the fat. Then when I opened the box I saw "only" 5 pieces and thought I'd be very hungry still. NOPE! It was smoked/burnt soooo good! Great flavor, so meaty and juicy, not squishy or super fatty! Also, I only ate 2 1/2 pieces of my burnt ends and part of the fries and I will eat the other half as a second meal. And the sauces- I usually don't enjoy bbq sauces, for me personally it seems people always go too sweet or too hot and completely over power the actual flavor, but I got a cup of vinegary sauce and Dr Pepper sauce, and like everything else, did not disappoint!! Both great flavors!! Finally, we tried the banana pudding, which I've never paid for at a restaurant, but the description of the topping piqued my interest. Holy Smokes.... the pudding was great, not any fake extract taste, in the topping I could taste the deep kinda nutty taste of the brown butter, the texture was perfect, crunchy and didn't get soggy like the standard wafer cookie, and the real whipped cream was the perfect balance. My singular complaint is I wish there was just a bit more of that topping because it was amazing! We will ABSOLUTELY be eating here again. P.S. I sent pictures of everything except the burger (because it was gone too fast) but they aren't attached here."

I was worried my husband wouldn't want or like the Barbecue Beans because he really wanted baked beans, but he ended up eating the whole bowl (except for the two bites I got, and I can vouch that they were fantastic). I got the Brisket Mac bowl, the mac & cheese was wonderful- fresh, creamy and not oily. You could tell it hadn't been sitting out all day. The brisket was plentiful and mouth watering, and the serving size of the bowl was enough for me to eat on three different times. The Ribs were a little too peppery for me, but I'm a baby, and again my husband loved them so much! He ate the entire rack which he doesn't normally eat that much in a sitting, and he can be very picky.
I'm super particular about barbecue sauce. I'm lucky to find one at most restaurants that I really like, and amazingly I like both of there sauces. My favorite was definitely the Kentucky gold, not so mustardy it blows out your palette, not too sweet or too spicy, but SO flavorful. Finally, I had to call over there to clarify something on my order and the owners were fantastic and very customer oriented and they even made me aware of the happy hour with discounted items. The worst thing about ordering again will be deciding if I want more of the same, or if I should try something new."

Finding donuts in the central Oregon area has been a mission of mine since I moved here and had a variety of disappointing donuts. The donut was a 10 out of 10! Light and airy with excellent flavor and texture! It was cooked perfectly without any dense spots or pockets of oil and the thickness was perfect throughout and I was concerned it would be too thick.
The Maple Bar frosting was a tad sweet for my preference possibly because the sugar wasn't completely dissolved leaving it a tad grainy, but not unpleasant or a big issue. I prefer more maple flavor in the glaze than this even with this criticism I would still give it a solid 7 out of 10 for the maple glaze and an 8/10 overall! The chocolate on the Chocolate Ring was done quite well and I am not a big fan of chocolate with sprinkles but I thought it was well balanced and good chocolate flavor in the glaze so I rate this as an 8/10 on the glaze/frosting and an 8.5/10 overall!
I have not eaten the other ones I ordered yet but I am optimistic because they look picture perfect., by far the best looking donuts I have seen since visiting bakeries in NYC. As a native Oregonian I am happy to find some donuts that are somewhat reminiscent of the days of Dunkin' Donuts. Maybe someday I will be able to find the powdered sugar covered, chocolate/strawberry/cream cheese creme filled, the Lemmon filled, or the caramel donuts that Dunkin' use to make. Until then I think I found a very worthy replacement and equally tasty donut spot."
