I’ve tried several restaurants for their Coct’el de Camaro’n and discovered {2} restaurants that have good / great tasting Coct’el. 1} El Sazon De La Tia {Castroville} they make four different kinds, served in a 24 oz. {Grande} container filled with Fresh shrimp and full to the top. Even when you reach the bottom of the container there’s still a ton of shrimp 🍤. 2) Taqueria de Zarape {Seaside}, again 24 oz container full of FRESH shrimp & octopus 🐙, very tasteful. Placed order @ 11:53 a.m., E.T.A.: 12:32-12:40 p.m. {Marina}, Arrived @1:0,p.m. , Dasher🚗: Yrne
Order arrived in 2 plastic bags, upon opening the bags, they didn’t give a Coke, delivered a Sprite.
The Coct’el came in a plastic container and after tasting it, not seasoned/spiced at all. They put ketchup packets and El Tapatio hot sauce packets. There were big pieces of shrimp 🍤 but hardly any in the Coct’el. I wouldn’t order the Coct’el from here. If you want great tasting Coct’el I would order from El Sazon De La Tia {Castroville} or Taqueria Zarape {Seaside}. Horchata was good."

I’ve tried several restaurants for their Menudo; 1) Sarita’s Mexican grill, Monterey {$15.99}, comes with small cut up pieces of meat, tripe, Hominy and spices with cilantro 🌿, diced onions, oregano, and crushed red chili 🌶️ peppers. Served in a styrofoam container with tortillas for a side. Tasted okay but nothing that you’d be excited about. 2) Taqueria Zarape, Seaside {$15.25} comes in a large plastic container which is always filled up with the BEST TASTING, FLAVORED, FRESHNESS pieces of meat and tripe🥇😋😘 which are big. The juice / sauce is really flavored and give you Cilantro, diced onions, oregano, and crushed red chili 🌶️ peppers with Tortilla on the side. It’s so good always looking forward to weekend to re order again and again. BEST VALUE 🤑 3) Mexico Maxico, Salinas~ Salas {$22.76} comes in a paper container filled up but very oily juice. Very little meat and/or tripe. The Spanish rice was very odd taste and tastes like they used cilantro. Overall I didn’t enjoy the menudo from Mexico Maxico and would not order from here again. In addition to ordering the Menudo {Weekend only} I ordered the Aguas Fresca 24 oz. bottled Horchata {$5.99}, Ensalada Papa {$5.99}, and Flour Chicharron Pinwheels 4 oz {$3.69}. Definitely cheaper for the Menudo than Mexico Maxico {$22.76} which is very oily.

Arrived lukewarm , it did come with onions, cilantro, crushed chile pepper. Very little amount of meat and/or tripe. Not very flavorful, I wouldn’t order the menudo from here.Looking for good menudo? Order from Taqueria Zarape, it’s worth waiting for the delivery. The Agua Fresca was delicious nice and sweet. Potato salad was good with nice chunks of diced potatoes.
