"I love the Crab Meat and Tomato Noodle Soup! It's a little different from other Vietnamese restaurants. It comes with shrimp paste which gives it an extra umami taste. It's flavorful broth that I just can't get enough of. Five Spice Chicken and Pate is good but I think the filling to bread ratio is a little off. It could use more meat but I love the bread they use. It's not so hard where it hurts the roof of my mouth. I like Combination Ham and Pate a lot more but I feel the same that it could use more meat to even out the filling to bread ratio. "I was not impressed with the food. Both items i ordered weren’t great.
The Grilled Pork Vermicelli / 烤豬肉米粉 was presented beautifully (well packaged beautifully) and was a huge portion, but that’s about it. The grilled pork wasn’t very good quality meat and sliced too thin so it was dry. There was barely enough sauce and no herbs so the flavor overall was lacking. I also paid an extra $1.50 to add eggrolls. It was just 1 pretty small egg roll. They could have put 2.
The Banh mi + drink combo was a disaster. I got cold cut sandwich. There was a lot of meat and pate which was awesome except that i had to pay extra for the pate. I thought it was standard for a combo cold cut banh mi to have pate. There were no green veggies in the sandwich except one TINY sliver of cucumber. You can see for yourself in the photo i included. No cilantro, no jalapeño, just a tiny piece of cucumber. Very disappointing
I would not order from here again as there are way better options in the area.

"If you can get past the name of this place, I highly recommend it! Just know that this is NOT Texas BBQ and as far as I can tell, the meat's not even barbecued but grilled. But with those little details out of the way, the food is nonetheless delicious! I got the 2-meat BBQ Meat Combo with lamb and chicken. The lamb is cubed and cooked on skewers (you get 4), and you get a bunch of chicken! These sit on a huge pile of basic fried rice (rice fried with soy sauce) and a scoop of potato salad. "Ugh, I'm obsessed with the Mentai Cream Sauce Udon at Udon Mugizo. So flavorful, unique, and perfectly portioned. I usually get it in store, but saw Udon Mugizo is on DD and thought'd get it to compare.
Packaging is great! The container has the udon noodles in the bottom and an inset plastic tray with the toppings, like the crispy tempura bits, so they don't get soggy during delivery. Soup is in a separate container too. At first, I thought the portion was smaller than in-store, but I was wrong: just as much food, and just as delicious.
Highly recommend! I still prefer going in store for the friendly staff and their outdoor patio, but the DD experience doesn't disappoint!"
