"Ok so obviously what I got was not Pozole but it was due to them being sold out and replacing it with their menudo. The menudo is very good, the broth has good flavor and the tripe is cooked great and soft to chew, I also bought a carnitas Taco Regular which was also very good. The carnitas were tender with crispy ends and a great flavor. You can tell everything is made pretty fresh and the portions are very good for the price. The juice was delightful, pretty standard, I got exactly what I expected.
The salad however, I had very little expectations of it because I have low expectations whenever I try a place for the first time, but it sounded like it would be the right combo of hearty and light. IT WAS EXACTLY THAT. The dressing was light and tangy, the pickled onions were perfectly pickled, the amount of grilled chicken was the perfect amount. It was crunchy, it was flavorful, it was a delicious salad without the extra croutons or creamy dressing.
I felt energetic after lunch. Will definitely be doing this order again. "
