"I've been ordering the same things from Taco Bell for like, decades now give or take the occasional curiosity I get when they have something new that sounds good. (the last time I was so daring was when the pink starburst freeze came out..lol) On a whim I decided to try out a couple of the Cantina items. The Cantina Chicken Quesadilla was good, it was like the typical chicken quesadilla but with way better chicken than the usual kind they use. The texture is similar, like if you tried to shred the original kind, but the flavor is bomb. The real star of the show, in my humble opinion, (that nobody asked for) was the Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco! The cheese on the outside AND the inside, with that bomb chicken and the sauce it comes with...fire. It has definitely become a new favorite on the roster, although I do aim to try it again to see if it was just the munchies that made it so dang good or if it's legit hella good. I will report back, but it could take a while 😂"

"I hate leaving a bad review for a local restaurant in our town but this will likely be the one and only time we eat here. I don't know how to say this any other way...it was the whitest Mexican food I've ever had. No seasoning, no spice, no heat. I had the asada carne 2 Taco Plate with a side of black beans and white rice. The minimal meat in the tacos was flavorless, the black beans were basically right from a can without a bit of seasoning and the white lime rice was the texture of 5 minute rice without a hint of lime. We also got a carnitas burrito which my spouse rated as "okay but I wouldn’t want it again." Hopefully they get better with time."

"Ordered the burrito bowl with grilled chicken and black beans. The chicken has the texture of crumbled ground beef. Cheese is congealed under the shredded lettuce. Portion is much smaller than from the store in BayPoint, and has no hint of lime, which Bay Point's version does have. It's good, but nowhere near as good as Bay Point's."

"I can only recommend the Caldo de Pollo. It's one of the best that I have enjoyed for over 30+ years at this location only. The Caldo De Pollo has clean flavors, good portion of white meat chicken, fresh vegetables, a small side of rice topped with chunks of avocado & and option of corn (handmade) or flour tortillas. Get the corn tortillas. Also includes their fresh salsa."
"My favorite burrito is the chile relleno. I was disappointed with the look, taste, and portion. First, the burrito wasn't tightly rolled or shaped like a burrito. Instead,it was over stuffed with rice and looked sloppy. Second, the rice and whole pinto beans needed seasoning. Finally, too much bland rice and beans overpowered the chili relleno.
Although this is not a glowing review, I will return. La Pinta is a wonderful cute pink restaurant. The staff are courteous and attentive. And I tried many other dishes - great and wonderful tasting dishes. La Pinta is well worth the visit."
