"I hadn’t eaten at Taqueria Flores in years, but after reading the reviews, I decided to give them another try. Unfortunately, I should have trusted my gut and saved my $40.
I ordered the tostadas, the crunchy taco special, and queso. I only wanted bean tostadas, but the order required me to select a protein, so I chose chicken. I even picked the food up myself, thinking that would ensure the tostadas and tacos were fresh and crunchy. I live only about four minutes away, but by the time I got home, everything was already soggy.
The tostadas had very little flavor and seemed to have more tomatoes and cheese than lettuce. The “crunchy” tacos were just as disappointing—they were soggy rather than crisp and lacked flavor as well.
The queso was another disappointment. It tasted sour and was surprisingly bland, with very little of the rich, cheesy flavor you expect from good queso. Between the soggy food and the sour-tasting queso, there really wasn’t anything about the meal that I enjoyed.
Both the tacos and tostadas were part of a buy-one-get-one-free special, but unfortunately, getting twice as much disappointing food didn’t make it a better deal.
Next time, I’ll stick with the food truck near Exxon. Their tacos and tostadas are made to order, fresh, crunchy, and packed with flavor. I really wanted to enjoy Taqueria Flores again, but this experience was a disappointment and definitely not worth the $40 I spent."

"It is our first time to eat here. The food arrived hot. The Boudin Balls were crispy and tasty. The Turkey Leg was delicious. The turkey was so tender and juicy, the crawfish ettouffee was a great topping over the dirty rice. It is huge! Enough to feed 2-3 people. The Chicken and Sausage Gumbo had a great flavor. I dont like okra so it had too much okra for me so i would not order this again but the flavor was fabulous. We will definitely order from here again. "

"First time ordering from Mr Tamal and I have to give thanks to this place. The original order was dropped off at wrong location by dasher, and I opted to let them re-deliver and it was nearly closing at 2 pm, but mr Tamal made my order again, & new Dasher dropped off at right place. The food, it was yummy! well packed and arrived hot. we had the Full House Breakfast Plate was so good and Potatoes with Chorizo taco, Reg Gordita was buy one get one free! French Toast was missing syrup but I use my own sugar free syrup so no biggie, but for others it might be. Bacon and Egg tacos were good with great tasting bacon Potatoes and Egg we added bean and cheese for free. They were very good. I will order again from here without hesitation because the food is very good! it is not the restaurant problem when the dasher drops at wrong house. FYI I called dasher asap she dropped at wrong place & those ppl kept the food 😒 try mr Tamal it's good👍"

"I saw the review on tiktoc and thought I would try it. I ordered the huevos Rancheros Eggs Plate and it does not have an option on door dash to specify the way you would like the eggs cooked but having this dish as many places the eggs are always over easy or sunny side up. These eggs were fried hard with just a splash of ranchero. Salsa is good and the lemonade is delicious but the eggs went in the trash so I paid $16 for beans, potatoes, tortillas and a drink. Not happy"
