"Unfortunately, our sushi order was quite disappointing tonight. We have ordered from here several times before and enjoyed it, but this time was just not good. Our seaweed salad had barely any seaweed in it, and instead they just filled the container with lettuce. Both the Yellowtail Carpaccio and the Albacore Crunch roll just tasted bad tonight - like, inedibly bad. And we usually really enjoy those dishes. Multiple rolls were jammed into one small container, making them impossible to get out without destroying them. Just disappointing, especially for the price. "

"Ive been looking for a good poke place nearby that has a lot of options and doesnt charge you extra for every additional topping or sauce flavor. Not only did here check both boxes, but their portions were quite large, and most importantly the food was delicious!! Fresh fish (I got salmon, ahi, and spicy tuna), all of my fave toppings (including corn, ginger, edamame, and all the crunchies), and no limit on sauces (I like to mix a few).
I also got an Albacore Hand Roll which was a really great price for fresh fish and avocado in LA (for reference, great white in larchmont once charged me $6 just to add avo to my breakfast burrito - this cost less than that add on!). It only came with soy sauce which (as a sauce girl) would have been a little bland for my taste, but I just added some ponzu from my poke bowl to it and was quite happy!

My wife and I have loved this place for over a decade!
Great prices (not too crazy like others), great portions, and it's always fresh.
I bought the black spider roll with eel & soft shell crab, Angie roll , candy roll, & the red dragon roll the day of this review.
They were all delicious and presented very well even when delivered.
Some sushi places give you these tiny, itty-bitty cut rolls that you need to eat like 3+ rolls to feel full.
Not with Teriyaki House; their portions are big.
I eat 1 to 1-1/2, and I'm stuffed (my wife's the same way). She'll eat one and be done.
I highly recommend this place it's not the greatest sushi in the world by any means but it's definitely delicious and worth a try.
I'd give it a 8.5/10 in my honest opinion."

I've gotten many different dishes and the fish is always fresh and tender, the rice has a good flavor and they season their sushi with delicious condiments while most other sushi restaurants I've tried lack such touches.

MISO SOUP was the best I've had. Flavorful and not quite creamy, but had a silky thickness to it. I'm almost always disappointed by thin watery miso soups. I only ordered this one to soothe my sore throat. A pleasant surprise that it was also fantastic.
CUCUMBER SALAD is something I prefer to make myself at home. This one was much better than mine. Full of flavor with a nice crunch. The cut on the cucumber definitely makes a difference and I can't wait to try my hand at preparing it this way.
