"I was really looking forward to trying the food here, and I was quite disappointed. I got the LA Galbi Combo (BBQ Short Rib) 갈비 +순두부. Almost everything was overcooked. The flavor of the LA galbi itself was ok, but the meat was rubbery. The fried croaker was so overcooked that the meat was almost hard like plastic. The rice was overly soft and chewy, and the beans banchan were dry in an unpleasant way. The serving sizes were quite small for the price as well -- I wasn't expecting a ton of food, but for $35+ delivery, I was expecting more, especially of the banchan. The banchan included a few pieces of cabbage kimchi, a tablespoon or two of dry beans, and a quarter cup or so each of fish cakes and some kind of slaw.
Overall the flavor was alright, but the textures were off and I felt that I wasn't getting a lot of value in either quality or quantity."

"Have literally been eating at Gen since they first opened and I've ordered takeout from them a few times only. Never had an issue before today and it's really just sad. The 7 Meats, 5 Sides, and Steamed Rice lets you double up on meats and sides so I got multiples of the same kimchi; what I got was less than half one container combined! It's like a single bite and that's it! Not to mention the cucumber side was literally 4 pieces of cucumber. Please see the photo - the spicy radish and cucumber you see is TWO orders put into one container. Just wow. Same issue with the meat - they charge extra for short rib and I got 2 small pieces along with bones standalone, no meat on them. The brisket, which I got 3 of, was pale and barely cooked so we threw everything in the oven to cook more. All 7 meats after cooking and plating together are shown in a photo.
