"No issues other than forgetting the whipped cream for the pancakes. My 3 year old will live though. Lol. I ordered the 3-4 stack of chocolate chip pancakes for him and he ate 1 yesterday and we have leftovers for the next few days. I ordered the Create Your Own omelette made with egg whites, spinach, mushrooms, cheddar cheese, bacon, and ham. I ate half yesterday and the other half I had for breakfast this morning. It's so yummy! I ordered the blueberry syrup caddy, but it didn't come in a syrup caddy...it came in a small container. I was under the impression it would come in a caddy due to it advertised that way. I thought other people should know that. A syrup caddy would have more syrup in it than the container. I thought it was like how Chick-Fil-A is when they sell their 8oz bottles of their sauces. (Which I also buy sometimes through DoorDash.)
Overall the food never fails! It's always delicious and the only issues I ever have are forgetting stuff like sprinkles, icing, and whipped cream for the pancakes I order. The cupcake pancakes are supposed to come with all of that, and they don't always come with the toppings. The chocolate pancakes with chocolate chips are fine without it, since my 3 year old will still eat them and doesn't know it's supposed to come with whipped cream. However, my daughters get upset when their Cupcake pancakes don't come with sprinkles, icing, or whipped cream. I buy 1 order of the cupcake pancakes, then split them up between my 2 daughters. The children's pancake breakfast doesn't come with enough food for them and they always complain about only having 1 pancake. It's perfect for a toddler, but not my 7 (almost) 8 year old and 5 (almost) 6 year old. They usually only eat pancakes and bacon when I order from IHOP. So they're still hungry after only 1 pancake and 1-2 slices of bacon. I started to order a side of 4 slices, then split those between the kids. 1-2 is fine for my toddler, but my daughters usually want 2-3 slices of bacon.
My toddler will graze and it will last him until lunch. Unless he's just not wanting it at the moment.
The syrup caddy shouldn't be advertised as a caddy if that's not what it's supposed to come in. I was slightly upset when I saw that it wasn't in a caddy. But I don't think any of the issues that I've had deserve to take any stars away. The food was cooked fine and my order was correct. My Dasher was on time, my food was still warm, and they didn't do anything wrong so I also gave them 5 stars. "
"No issues other than, they forgot to put the whipped cream in the bag. I wish there was an option to put a note on the order for them. I needed extra cutlery and extra stuff to put on the pancakes. I placed two orders of the 4 cupcake pancakes, then split them up with my children. The kids meals don't have enough food, so it's easier for me to do it that way. I wish the kids meal had 2 pancakes and 2 of each side. But I know the employees don't control what's on the menu. I've never had any issues with what I have ordered so far. It's easy to forget small things or the extra things during rush hours. I know once they forgot side of pieces of bacon I ordered. But that was the first time I ordered IHOP through DoorDash.
My kids don't need much to satisfy them, and are always happy with the cupcake pancakes. They love that they come with cream cheese frosting (I heat it up a little bit in the microwave so it's easier to pour), and sprinkles. Two things of the sprinkles and frosting was plenty for my 3 children. They each had 2 pancakes and I have 2 left over since I ordered 8 total. It would have been cheaper if I had ordered the family meal, but they don't have the cupcake pancakes as an option for the family breakfast meals on DoorDash currently. Next time I'll ordered a different kind and get the family breakfast meal. I've ordered the Colorado omelette for myself a few times and it's so delicious. It comes with salsa and sour cream. It does however, have a lot of calories...over 1,000...so if you order this and need to stay under 2,000 calories...just keep this in mind.
The omelette is low carb, paleo, Bariatric, and keto friendly. Aside from the high calorie content.
When I ordered it, it was the only thing I had eaten. I log all of my foods into MyFitnessPal, and I can't eat unhealthy or a lot of calories.
If I order it again, I'd have to split it up over a course of 2-3 days. Since I will be having surgery soon and won't be able to eat much anyways.
My children recommend the cupcake pancakes, smiley face pancakes, and the mini/small pancakes. They've never complained. They'll even eat them without syrup, that's how much they like them. Hopefully in the future, more places will have more low carb, sugar free options. It's very hard trying to find pancakes that are low carb and sugar free. Unless you make them yourself. I also order the breakfast beverage bundle that comes with 4 small drinks. The lids are on very well. They're sealed and very good quality. They don't pop off the cups easy like they do at McDonald's or other restaurants when you get a drink. Which is awesome when you have a toddler and two other children who are dropping their cups. They're not spill-proof of course, but when they drop to the carpeted floor of the living room...the lid doesn't pop off and only a little bit of liquid comes out. I know that's an odd thing to mention in a review, but you never know who may want to know that. I have loved IHOP since I was a little girl, and I'm glad I can take my own children to a place I went to when I was little.
The prices are okay. If you can afford it. On other days, it's too expensive. I don't always order DoorDash because it's expensive, but I don't have a car and I'm home by myself with kids all day. So it's needed for those days I don't feel well or for when we haven't gone grocery shopping. "
