"I usually donāt leave reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I felt I had to.
I live only about 10 minutes away, so I was surprised that the food was already cold when I got home. I started eating the legume first, and it was completely cold while the rice was only mildly warm. I ended up having to reheat the entire meal.
To make matters worse, we specifically requested rice and beans but received black rice instead. Iām not sure what the point of offering different rice options is if the order isnāt prepared as requested.
We also ordered the stew turkey, but there wasnāt any stew sauce on the plate at all. The turkey ended up being dry because there was nothing to go with it.
Unfortunately, the food itself wasnāt much better. The rice was clumpy, and the legume lacked flavor.
Whatās frustrating is that this wasnāt our first visit. The first time we ordered from Island Signature, the food was amazing, which is why we came back. I honestly didnāt expect the quality to drop this much on our second visit.
I really hope this was just an off day because I know theyāre capable of much better."
